The City of Marion prides itself on having a high-performing, safety-conscious workforce. Over thirty full and part time employees are presently in the City service, in areas ranging from law enforcement to water and waste water treatment.

Marion’s employees receive competitive pay and excellent benefits, including health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and retirement. The City posts all job openings in The Crittenden Press, on bulletin boards in City Hall, and on this web site. Applications for available positions may be downloaded from the document center. All applications must be returned to the City Administrator’s Office, 217 South Main Street, Marion, Kentucky, 42064, by the deadline given in the job posting. The City does not accept applications except when a position(s) is available.
