Administration

Marion’s administrative office is located in Marion City Hall, 217 South Main Street, in downtown Marion. Among the services and activities carried out by the administrative staff are:

  • Nuisance Abatement
  • Occupational Tax Licenses
  • Payroll Tax Administration

Mark Bryant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of city government and implementing the goals, objectives, and strategies of the Mayor and Council. Bryant directs and supervises the activities of City personnel to insure effective and efficient delivery of municipal services and work products. Pam EnochPam Enoch is the Marion City Clerk. She serves as custodian of city records and the city seal, keeps the minutes of all City Council meetings, and handles billing and collection for the water and sewer system.

 

 


Melinda GipsonMelinda Gipson, Marion’s City Treasurer, is responsible for most bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities. Gipson assists the public on property tax, payroll tax, occupational tax, and insurance tax issues, and enforces city regulations concerning these issues. Terri HartTerri Hart is the office’s Administrative Assistant, providing general information and assistance to the public and secretarial - administrative services to the City Administrator and other staff.
